
Property Tax Relief Events for NJ Residents Over Age 65 or on Disability
We wanted to inform you about a valuable opportunity for New Jersey residents age 65 and older or those receiving Social Security Disability benefits.
Representatives from the NJ Division of Taxation will be hosting Property Tax Relief Filing Events across the state, now through October 22, 2025. You can attend an event in any township—no pre-registration is required.
At these events, you can receive in-person assistance with filing for several important tax relief programs, including:
- Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement)
- ANCHOR Program
- Stay NJ Program
If you have not yet applied for these benefits, we encourage you to consider attending one of these sessions.

Please note: The deadline to file is October 31, 2025.
What to bring to the event:
- Photo ID
- Social Security number
- Income documentation
- Property tax totals billed for both 2023 and 2024
